Mike Barbanica is the broker/owner of the Blue Line Property Group in Antioch, CA. He started his career with the Pittsburg Police Department where he served 21 years and retired in 2007 as a police lieutenant. He was able to work in all areas of the department including those involving the day to day operation of the organization. He ran a portion of the patrol division, a street level narcotics team, the training and recruiting division and several other areas of the department. Previously Mike was the broker/owner of an international franchise for three offices, but decided that having his own company as a local boutique was a much better fit for his clients, the agents, his family and himself. He is also an international best selling real estate author.


While working as a mortgage broker and working on his Master’s degree, Mike expanded his business to the real estate industry. He built a team while working for another broker and ultimately started his own company. He continued to build his real estate career during the economic downturn, where he ran an independent brokerage until he was approached by some of the executives from an international franchise. He worked with them for many years and ultimately made a decision that he wanted to grow his company in a different direction and knew that the best path to business expansion as an agent and as an owner was the path that suited him best.


Mike became an international franchise broker/owner in 2010 where he opened and grew three successful offices, all with very strong hand-picked agents. He started with one location and soon purchased another office, moving that business to the city of Brentwood, CA. Within two years he opened a third office in the city of Clayton, CA. and was fortunate enough to buy a large office and ultimately combining all three locations into one corporate office.

In 2012 the Blue Line offices and the agents were awarded the honor of the franchises California Hawaii Region “Outstanding Brokerage of the Year” and that same year he was awarded the regions Broker of the Year.  


The agents working with him are truly the best of the best. Each agent has been hand picked to be a part of this team. He has a philosophy that not every agent has what it takes to be a Blue Line agent. These agents must be dedicated to putting the needs of all clients above their own, working from a mindset of never ending education to better themselves and their career and long term business building. Constant improvement is a must to be part of this organization.  


The agents Mike works with have been very successful in increasing their gross production, developing teams, and participating in the internal training programs that he has developed. Mike has created educational business building programs where he infuses his own coaching with the training he has gained over the years and authored The Real Estate Foundation, an international best selling book on building real estate companies. Through this program he has been able to tailor the content to meet the needs of the agents as they build their business. Regardless if an agent is new to the industry or a seasoned veteran, the training has assisted them with long term business building and understanding the needs of the client. Production awards amongst Blue Line agents are very common as he is fortunate to work with many of the top agents in the industry. He has been honored to fly around the country and speak in front of international real estate conferences regarding business building. 


He has been very strategic in his office growth, only hiring agents that fit the office's long term mission and vision of helping others. This has allowed him to surround himself with agents that are serious about their careers and building long term client relationships that result in successful business.


Mike is an international real estate, business and personal coach and is honored to be working with agents and other business owners, successfully helping these people to build very successful businesses inside and outside of the United States. He is very fortunate to work with other real estate professionals that are all leaders within the industry.  


Mike is very passionate about helping others to build a successful career in real estate. He spends the majority of his time teaching and coaching others.
